Every year in the large cities of America, ad geeks, graphic designers, media buyers, account reps, illustrators, video producers, the radio people (you know, the ones that tell you what to buy and that you really need it) and advertising groupies all gather to see if their hard work in advertising and promoting their clients' work over the past year is worthy of the coveted Addy!

Yes. the Addys. This is the chance for those in the advertising industry to gloat for one night and showcase to everyone else "Who's the Man." Every February Madison, Wisconsin, hosts the regional Addy Awards and showcases the work for national recognition through the American Advertising Federation.
Before going to the Addy Awards show, I knew that my employer had received awards for graphic and web design work, but was unsure which placing they had received. So once the show started, I was shocked to find out that 2 of my web designs had won awards and that one was a Gold Addy.
The two website designs that won awards were AES Industrial (Silver Addy) and Artisan Gallery (Gold Addy).

AES Industrial specializes in bakery replacement parts, fabrication, and sales for bakeries and a variety of industries.
Artisan Gallery Website Design, Gold Addy Award
The Artisan Gallery is a showcase for some of the best fine crafts and fine art in the state of Wisconsin.
On February 23, 2008, the Madison Advertising Federation honored the best of the city's print, TV, radio and other advertisements at the 2008 ADDY Awards held at The Overture Center in the beautiful Capitol Theater. Econoprint, Inc. went home with one Silver and one Gold Addy in Interactive Design which was a first for their web department.
